Destiny Watson is an upcoming rapper, songwriter, and singer who started off writing poetry. Her modeling career started her fan base and now it expands into the music industry.
Born in Louisiana but raised in Florida, Destiny P Watson grew up with a mother who didn’t want her to listen to the Hardcore music of Cash Money Millionaires and more dirty south artists. She loved Tupac and old school jams, and a father who was a fan of all music and artists from Pink Floyd to Jazz artists from Lousiana. He also DJ'd alongside her uncle is DJRo. Destinyhas networked with many legends from the music and fashion industry and hopes to be noticed by Interscope, Dreamville, and/or TDE.
She is an advocate for self-representation under her company. Destiny released her first EP June 9, 2017 to add more content with meaning into the music industry instead of the mumble rap which she feared would take over Hip-Hop. She writes all her music and works with a select few of producers. One track has a feature with another female artist named Pastora who is on the come-up and Destiny wanted to have her voice included.
"I’m trying to put out more music with a message. MC, singer-songwriter photographer, and model. Music is an outlet whether I'm writing it or playing it. I started my musical training at the age of 6 under my elementary music teacher, my dad was also a musician who DJed & played instruments, and I've played the organ, recorder, flute, saxophone, and bassoon. I still can play the flute, but I have yet to pick up a sax or bassoon in a while. Art is my strong point. I'm also trained in photography and modeling. I've received feed back from Sauce Walka and recognized by Edidon of the Outlawz for my music."- Destiny P.
We've been jamming to her projects via Spotify.
