St. Wave Drops EP Dedicated To The Millennial Lifestyle
December 13, 2017
St. Wave blessed us with his very first EP project Troposphere, an ode to the futuristic times and millennial lifestyle we're currently living in. With super producer Jay Villa orchestrating the sonic artwork, the two found themselves becoming the perfect pair. Within a week of it's release, St. Wave already gathered over 2,000 plays and counting on Soundcloud.
St. Wave's low-tone vocals are reminiscent of the dreamy Kid Cudi mixed with A$ap Rocky with a sprinkle of Willow Smith. With a toxic vocal combination, St. Wave will have you trippin' like the best club drugs through his musical high. His lyrics consist of being distracted by the external world, swooning pretty women and not being able to relate to the world around him. Walking through the dark mind of the St. Wave gives us insight to the musician's mind. An overwhelmed, overclouded and over-confident space. He knows he's good...but can the world really appreciate him in the day and age of saturated trash singles? The introverted rapper is striving to succeed in a world where everything and everyone is over-exposed.
Our favorite track on the EP is "Echoes", because who doesn't love New York house and blunts?!
The production on this project is A1 with highly-professional sounds and effects that embody the vision of the EP.
