If you could choose to work with some of today’s established artists or producers, to move your game to the top, with whom would you like to collaborate?
My perfect song with be produced by Kanye & Pharrell and it would feature Trippie Redd & Ty Dollar $ign on the hook and Kendrick and Gucci Mane on the verses. I would have the first verse to set it off and me Trippie would share the breaks. I would play that song all day!
What is a typical day like for you?
"Wake up around 10 , Smoke a Preroll Swisher, pop a xan and get to working on promotion or just go straight to the studio. I have a studio in my house and I do all my work on my two laptops or my iPhone, so I do most of my work out of the house. Then around 6-7pm, I’ll eat, chill with my bros or play 2K and take a break from the grind then get back to it around 11-12. I usually write, record or buy beats until I get tired then fall asleep around 4-5am depending on my work schedule."
Which ingredient do you think is most essential in making your sound and style the way it is?
"Extra spicy buffalo sauce haha but naw usually I smoke a Swisher, drink some Water or Grape Juice and get in my zone! I’ve been making music for 18 years so everything is like muscle memory for me now. It usually takes me 3 hours to write, record, mix, make the song graphic and upload it to Soundcloud/Tunecore. Or just 1-2 hours to write/record/mix the song if I’m not releasing it. I also have a 24 hour turn around for features!"
Most successful point in your career thus far?
"I’m thankful for everything I’ve been able to be a part of in my career. I’ve opened up for Juicy J, Crooked I, Bizarre, Aaron Carter, Cal Scruby, $teven Cannon & more. My biggest feature I’ve released is “No Chill” with $teven Cannon but just got a feature in the vault from one of your favorite rappers I’m saving for my debut album!"
