What inspired you to do what you do?
"The current state of Hip-Hop. I feel like there is a lot of oversaturation of tracks with shallow lyrics and nonexistent ideas or messages. It's just drugs, money, women, cars, etc. I'm not saying there are no thoughtful artists, because there are, Kendrick Lamar, Joyner Lucas, J Cole and Logic to name a few. But I can't remember when was the last time I listened to a top 100 single and actually had something inspiring to take away from it. It's just "fun music" and I kinda get that, but I really want to write about some real issues."
How did you start in this industry?
"I initially started as a producer 10 years ago, selling beats to my friends, and later to some more known local artists. I started rapping about 2 years ago, and I still make all the beats that I use, and I produce all of my songs."
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
"Too early to tell now. I guess the state of the scene will dictate whether i come up or not. I definitely got a lot of ideas to share with the world, but only if the people are willing to stand behind me and listen. I'm gonna keep making good music, and interacting with my fans every day."
